Philanthropic Giving
For donors considering more significant or strategic support, philanthropic giving at TQS begins with a conversation, not a transaction.

Why Philanthropy Matters at TQS
The Quaker School at Horsham was founded in 1982 by George Rowe and Beverly Morgan, who were committed to a school where students with complex learning challenges could thrive, not just attend. That same generosity has carried the school forward ever since, philanthropy has helped fund all four of our campus building projects, growing TQS right alongside the students it serves. Giving today continues that work: a stronger campus, room for more students who need us, and a future where TQS keeps growing to meet them.
What Your Support Makes Possible

Gifts to TQS go to work in the same year they’re made, supporting big impact initiatives such as campus growth, more students getting access, and implementing the Strategic Plan.
Gifts to our scholarship funds help ensure that cost isn’t the reason a student can’t attend TQS, both immediately and for years to come.
Ways to Give

Turn Your Tax Dollars Into Scholarships

Through TQS’s partnerships, individuals and businesses in Pennsylvania can participate in the EITC program with a minimum contribution of $1,000 per year for two consecutive years, supporting tuition assistance at TQS and fellow Quaker schools. Participants receive a 90% PA state tax credit. TQS receives at least 75% of every contribution from TQS donors. As an example, a $10,000 gift results in a $9,000 tax credit.
Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)
Pennsylvania businesses and individuals can reduce tax liability by contributing to registered scholarship organizations like TQS, receiving a dollar-for-dollar tax credit of up to 90% for a two-year commitment, or up to 75% for a one-year commitment.
Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC)
OSTC funds scholarship awards for eligible students living within the attendance boundary of a low-achieving public school, allowing them to attend a school like TQS instead.
