TQS' Mission in Action

TQS' Mission in Action

Dear TQS Families,

“A picture is worth a thousand words.”

It’s an age-old adage that has perhaps become a little trite over time – and yet I found myself reflecting on the truth behind it this week as I watched our graduating seniors take their senior photos.

These pictures represent so much more than I can express to you in words today. They are the culmination of years of hard work, care, dedication, perseverance, and resilience from our students, their families, and our exceptional faculty and staff. Depicted in these photos are challenges overcome, meaningful goals reached, and bright futures at the ready.

Yes, our first TQS graduating class is a picture-perfect representation of this school’s mission.

To be able to commemorate our school’s first senior class is a tremendous accomplishment and a remarkable milestone, and I look forward to celebrating it together as a community.

Beyond our senior class, I am filled with gratitude and excitement for the growth and progress all of our students have shown this year, and I stand in awe of the commitment of our teachers, therapists, and staff who work tirelessly to provide a safe and nurturing school environment. It is an absolute pleasure to witness this community learning and growing socially, behaviorally, and academically together, every day.

As we welcome the arrival of spring (and prepare for spring break!), I hope you all take some time to reflect on the incredible progress that our students have made. It is a wonderful time to celebrate their successes and amazing growth.

I also want to take this moment to thank you for choosing our school. We are honored to have your trust, unwavering support, collaboration, and belief in our mission. I look forward to sharing many more community milestones with you in the future.

Have a wonderful, restful spring break. May this spring season be a picture of peace, joy, and happiness.

Shine on (spring break),

Alex
